Previous experiences: extensive use with LSD over years, dabbled with 2C-C once or twice, smoked copious amounts of DMT, tried iboga but not in an extreme (flood) dose (and smoke marijuana on and off, but I don’t even really count that because it’s pretty weak), and extensive use of magic mushrooms, and also took MDMA (Ecstasy) three times in total—once recently.
I don’t wish to make this a full trip report, especially because I’ve already made one which you can see here, but there are several useful pieces of information that I wish to add or reinforce.
1. Several hours after this drug peaks, I would definitely recommend smoking marijuana. Marijuana alone is pleasant but, while under the influence of DOPr, it becomes almost completely euphoric. I’ve dabbled with Ecstasy before, as noted above, and the feelings I received from the combination of DOPr and weed are very similar to that. I became very happy and almost unable to produce any sadness.
2. For my first trip, I threw shrooms into the mix, whilst this time I did not. Shrooms do not work too well with DOPr from what I’ve noticed, but I suppose that was just the one time.
3. The amount of sleep you get before trying DOPr will affect the trip greatly. Last time I tried it, I got virtually no sleep beforehand and, as a result, I was thrown for quite a curve. This inhibited my enjoyment of the trip, and made it much more difficult to cling onto my sanity. Different levels of energy will produce different effects.
4. It takes 45 minutes – 4 hours for this drug to fully kick in. If kept under the tongue or between the lower gums and the front lip, it seems to activate much quicker—about 45 minutes – 1 hour—than if swallowed right off the bat, which takes an average of 3 – 4 hours. I prefer to trip faster and harder rather than waiting for the substance to creep in slowly but surely. DOPr seems to burn the flesh for some reason—perhaps it’s slightly acidic—so don’t be surprised by this. There doesn’t seem to be any severe or long-term damage, just slight blistering in the mouth that disappears after a couple days.
5. It, once again, seemed as if I were living in a dream. Be careful on this stuff, it’s somewhat difficult to separate reality and fiction, so it’s important to remind yourself that you’ve ingested a drug and you’re just tripping.
6. DOPr is a stimulant, there’s no two ways of looking at it. Even at 4 milligrams, I received huge bursts of energy and felt like running a marathon or something. I wrote a lengthy essay instead, but my point is that you sort of feel like you have to do something, have to keep busy, or you’ll lose it. It’s similar to rolling on MDMA in this way.
That’s all for now, cheers everyone!
Yours always,
Ichigo
